BETILUCA
HANDMADE BAGS & ACCESSORIES
Betiluca
a lot of love and care put into each piece

Betiluca is an independent design and sewing project that I began in Berlin in 2006. For eleven years my house studio was there.
We started with a sewing machine that a friend lent us. I made bags and my partner had his own illustration project. He applied his illustrations and designs to notebooks, postcards, bags, and even toys (@seba.vision). The project took shape and grew until we could live from it.
The name “Betiluca” was inspired by my mother and the beautiful design of the brand by my sister. The two are always with me.
All the creative process, design, production, photos, logistics, everything is completely done by me with the help of my partner. We spend a lot of time and take a lot of care in designing and making each piece by hand.
In 2019 we decided to move to a small town in Valle del Tietar, Spain, to live in contact with nature, to breathe in the fresh clean air, and stop running. This change brought back Betiluca after a long hiatus. Living in this place is wonderful. The handwork and the way we do it makes even more sense in this environment. We work hard and with love to carry out our projects: Betiluca and LA-BA, a creative studio.
That is why when you buy a Betiluca product you are not only choosing a beautiful design, and careful preparation, you are also supporting a different way of production, economy and lifestyle. Thank you for helping us to make this possible!!!
We are here for any question, suggestion, or idea you have.
